Doctor Elizabeth Hagen is an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner - Board Certified, licensed master aesthetician, electrologist, and nationally certified laser operator with over 25 years of clinical and cosmetic skin care experience. Elizabeth is experienced with patients of all ages, backgrounds, and skin types. She has worked in prestigious Plastic Surgery and Dermatology practices in the greater Seattle, Bellevue, Mill Creek, Mukilteo, Everett and Lynnwood.

Personal:
Elizabeth is a Seattle native; born and raised. She grew up in Seattle's View Ridge and Green Lake areas and attended Roosevelt High School.

In 1999: She left for a short time to post-secondary school in Utah at Cameo College of Essential Beauty in Salt Lake City. She earned two technical degrees as a master aesthetician and electrologist and acquired Utah board certifications.

In 2001: Elizabeth moved back home to Seattle. She began working with the highly respected plastic surgeon and otolaryngologist Dr. Curran Smith until he retired in 2006.

In 2008: She brought her knowledge as a trained laser technician/operator to Providence Medical Group with the dermatologist and Mohs surgeon Dr. Dieter Schmidt where she created and operated the aesthetic skin care and laser department.

In 2008, she left Providence with Dr. Schmidt when he opened North Sound Dermatology (now Frontier Dermatology) She continued her role as the director skin care and laser department. For the next 10 years, Elizabeth expanded the cosmetic services to include clinical treatments using photodynamic therapy for the treatment of actinic keratosis (pre-cancers) and squamous cell in-situ, as well as laser treatments for other dermatological skin conditions.

In 2015: Elizabeth left North Sound Dermatology and re-opened Hagen Health & Absolute Aesthetics.

Alma, Lumenis, Laserscope, Candela/ Syneron, Palomar/Cynosure, BTL, Thermi, and CoolSculpt and more.

Elizabeth served as a National Trainer for DUSA’s Blu-U PDT (Photodynamic Therapy) system, Palomar’s Icon Intense Pulsed Light system, and 1540nm fractional laser device.

Throughout the years, Elizabeth has been a highly sought-after instructor, teaching Plastic Surgeons, Dermatologists, and nurses throughout Seattle, Puget Sound, and Washington State.
