What Is the Teoxane RHA® Collection?

The Teoxane RHA® Collection is a family of resilient hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers developed for facial areas that move. Rather than choosing a filler from a menu, I begin with your anatomy, expression, tissue support, treatment history, and goals. The product and amount are selected only after an in-person evaluation.

How I Choose an RHA® Filler

I evaluate facial movement at rest and in expression, skin quality, volume changes, symmetry, prior filler, medications, allergies, dental or medical procedures, and the result you want to maintain. RHA Redensity® may be considered for dynamic lines around the mouth, while other RHA® formulas may be selected for facial wrinkles, folds, lip support, or volume correction when clinically appropriate. Your treatment plan is individualized rather than based on a one-size-fits-all syringe count.

What to Expect

Your visit includes medical screening, facial assessment, informed consent, photography when appropriate, and a review of alternatives, risks, and realistic outcomes. Treatment time varies by the number of areas treated. Temporary swelling, tenderness, redness, bruising, firmness, or asymmetry can occur after injection. Results and duration vary by product, treatment area, anatomy, metabolism, and treatment plan.

Aftercare and When to Call

Follow the written aftercare instructions provided for your treatment. Avoid pressing or massaging the treated area unless specifically directed. Activity, heat, alcohol, skin care, and makeup guidance will be individualized. Contact the practice promptly for symptoms that are severe, worsening, or unexpected. Vision changes, severe pain, unusual skin color changes, weakness, or other neurologic symptoms require immediate emergency evaluation.

Results and Follow-Up

Swelling can temporarily affect how the result looks. A follow-up visit may be recommended after the area has settled so that healing, balance, and your response can be evaluated before any additional treatment is considered.

What is the difference between lidocaine and mepivacaine?

How long do RHA® filler results last?

Duration varies by product, treatment area, anatomy, metabolism, movement, and treatment plan. Your consultation will include realistic expectations for the selected product and area.

Is there downtime after RHA® filler treatment?

Many patients return to routine activities quickly, but swelling, bruising, redness, tenderness, firmness, or temporary asymmetry may occur. Plan treatment with enough time before important events and follow your individualized aftercare instructions.

Are RHA® fillers appropriate for everyone?

No. Injectable treatment requires medical screening and is not appropriate for every patient or every concern. FDA-approved indications vary by product and are for adults age 22 and older. Alternatives or referral may be recommended when appropriate.
